To provide leadership and advancement in the field of Anatomic Pathology, and further to improve the quality of life of the people in the UAE through maintaining high standards of care in Pathology medicine.

The aim of the forum is to act as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and information; providing a high standard pathology service in the UAE to keep our members aware of recent advances in Pathology and finally, continue to play a vital role in the diagnosis and management of patients.

Strategic Goals

The objective of the Society is to improve the quality of life for people worldwide, and particularly in the

United Arab Emirates, by maintaining high standards of care in Pathology practice. The Society and its activities shall be so directed that they serve the Member Societies by collecting, collating and disseminating information concerning the educational, research and service provision aspects of Pathology practice; and representing the consensus view of Member Organizations in the East Mediterranean region and national forums.

The diversity of member profiles and interest levels shown by several societies and government organizations from the region in participating is indeed a further emphasis of the importance of such development. However, members should accept the fact that we are one of many specialties in medicine and are therefore determined to work towards collaboration with other specialist groups.
